Course Dumbledore trusts you. He's a trusting man, isn't he? Believes in second chances. But me... I say there are spots that don't come off, Snape. Spots that never come off, know what I mean?

Harry Potter Movies: The Penultimate Potter Has Been Seen!

News on any Harry Potter Movie It’s official, some lucky people have seen Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I. If you live in Chicago and attended the first cut of the movie, despite it having unfinished CGI and a stand-in score, well let’s just say I am one very jealous muggle.

With an overwhelmingly positive response, the film was commented on in depth by fans. Despite a number of changes from the source material, the consensus is that, largely, the film manages to translate – and in some instances improve on – J. K. Rowling’s take on The Boy Who Lived. Needless to say, if you are avoiding spoilers you should stop reading here.

News on any Harry Potter Movie First movie will end 'at about Chapter 24 of the book,' according to upcoming article in Entertainment Weekly.

By Josh Wigler

Given that the novel clocks in at 759 pages and 36 chapters, not to mention a controversial flash-forward epilogue, there's little question that the film adaptation of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" needed extra legroom to properly stretch itself. As a result, Warner Bros. made the fan-supported decision to split the final installment of the "Harry Potter" franchise into two movies, but one question still plagues Potterites everywhere: At what moment in the story will the films split up?

News on any Harry Potter Movie The Wyrd case of a Winnipeg folksinger suing a lawyer who sued two judges, all over a tiny copyright issue
by Nancy Macdonald on Thursday, July 29, 2010 11:20am - 0 Comments

In November 2008, Kim Baryluk, lead singer for the band the Wyrd Sisters, sat down at her computer in her Ponemah, Man., home on Lake Winnipeg’s shores. There, she happened upon a story in the Globe and Mail describing a lawsuit filed in her name. As she read on, her jaw hit the floor—the suit was news to her. Her lawyer had, without her consent, she claims, sued two Ontario judges for $21 million for conspiracy, a case so bizarre (ever hear of a lawyer suing a judge?) even the Times of London reported it.

News on any Harry Potter Movie It's hard to believe that Bonnie Wright was only 9 years old when she first appeared onscreen in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." Though looking at production stills of Wright in "Sorcerer's Stone" through the teasers for "Deathly Hallows," it's easy to see the evolution of the young girl grown into the young woman she is today.

When MTV News caught up with the actress at the recent opening of Universal's Wizarding World of Harry Potter, we asked Wright to reflect on how her character, Ginny Weasley, has evolved along with her over the course of the eight "Potter" films.
