When my daughter was younger, I read the Harry Potter books to her... this got her hooked on the movies. Now she's 11 and I've started making her read the books. So now we're reading them (me again) together and she's finding the books much better than the movies.
So much fun.

An update for those who might be interested...
We just started Goblet of Fire. Very proud of my daughter getting through the first 3 books in under 2 months... now we'll see if she can get the massive 4th done before school starts.

I recieved the Harry Potter set for my birthday last year. I am sad to say I am on the last book and was getting quite depressed about the idea of not being apart of the Harry Potter world anymore. Since I use Twitter I heard about your site and have now discoverd fanfic, RPG and fanart. Hogwarts lives in the minds of it's fans forever.
